SALIDA VARSITY BOYS DEFEAT LAKE COUNTY PANTHERS
The Salida Spartan Varsity boy’s basketball. Team notched another victory last night as they traveled to Leadville and defeated the Lake County Panthers 83-45 to raise their record to 6-3 on the season, 2-2 in Tri-Peaks west league competition. Results from the girls and boys teams will next face the powerful teams from Colorado Springs Christian, as the Lion, first place in both the boys and girls divisions of the Tri-Peaks west League, come to town Friday, with those games broadcast live on Eagle Country 104.
For Demons, it’s road trips to Florence today for the girls and boys, and then home games Saturday Evening Against the Classical Academy.
